The Concept

Nini’s Bistro grew out of a 25-year friendship of Felix Proto and Chef Stuart London.  After years partnering as the catering company Grand Gourmet, performing Weddings and special catered functions at rental mansions throughout the state, Felix and Stuart wanted a brick and mortar establishment in which to showcase their talents to potential new catering customers.  Not wanting to jeopardize the already popular catering business by the distraction of a full time full service restaurant, the two choose the idea of a 4 night per week prix fixe bistro, where customers could get a multi course meal for 1 affordable flat price.  Adding to that, Stuart came up with the idea of changing the menu every month so that customers could come back with greater frequency and not have the same repetitive menu.  This also allows the Chef the ability to use only the freshest ingredients available at the start of each menu.  B.Y.O.B was the finishing touch adding even more affordability to the concept and also providing a place for wine collectors and enthusiasts to bring their latest finds and share them with friends.

When dining at Nini’s, we want customers to feel more like you are over a good friends house for dinner rather then dining out in a food service establishment.  Nini’s provides a relaxed environment to enjoy good company, food, and drink.

To keep the prix fixe price low, and B.Y.O.B available, two wait people run the entire dinning room.  This is no small task.  This is why there are corkscrews and water pitchers on your table.  We wont be tableside waiting to re fold you napkin when you get up from your table, however a raised hand or a call will get someone to your table A.S.A.P.

Nini’s accepts all major credit cards, however asks that you use no more then 2 cards per any one table.  To help us keep costs down we always appreciate cash payments.  We share the cost of parking with our customers and would be happy to validate for a $3.00 charge.   To help us replace wine glasses, corkscrews and such, a $2.00 per bottle corking fee is applied to your bill.
